Custom Windows and Doors
Leaf and Light offers custom windows and doors built to your exact dimensions. Our work includes original designs as well as restoration. Leaf and Light’s window restorations match your existing windows and sashes, which can be produced with double pane glass for energy efficiency. Unlike window and door warehouses, we don’t rely on insulation to draft-proof a near-fitting sash but instead custom-fit the sash to each window. We can build reproductions of doors and windows to match existing architectural elements and can suggest the correct historical elements for your home.
Renovation, Remodeling, and New Construction
Leaf and Light is a complete resource, offering design-build services for new construction and old in the San Francisco Bay Area. We work in rural and urban settings and at all scales. Whether you are building an outdoor dining area in your yard in Oakland; renovating a kitchen in North Marin; reconfiguring your floor plan to fit your life in the Sunset District; or maybe re-thinking your workspace entirely, we can bring all the elements together and make it happen beautifully.
Furniture and Turning
Leaf and Light makes built-ins and furniture. Past projects have included tables, desks, workstations, seating, and cabinetry. Keith also turns wood from local trees and salvaged wood to create vessels, furniture, and lighting. Please inquire about custom work.
